The exhibition 6 Künstler aus Basel x2 in Kunsthalle Basel is part of the Regionale 12 exhibition taking place in and around Basel in 15 different institutes.

The participating artist in the Kunsthalle are: Miriam Cahn, Hannah Villiger, Anselm Stalder, Alex Silber Company, Rut Himmelsbach, Vivian Suter, Jannik Giger, Katharina Anna Wieser, Esmé Valk, Dominique Koch, Jan Kiefer & Daniel Kurth.

On 13 September the members of the jury, consisting of Bartomeu Marí, Agustín Pérez Rubio, Wenceslao Rambla, Nicolaus Schaffhausen and Rosalía Torrent, decided to let my work Showcasing Today’s Essentials win the yearly International Contemporary Art Prize Diputació de Castelló, organised by EACC. My work has been nominated for the art prize 5×5Castelló2011. Premi Internacional d´art contemporani Diputació de Castelló.

Five artists, Ignasi Aballí, Marlene Dumas, Dora García, Pipilotti Rist and Ai Weiwei, have been asked by EACC to each propose five contemporary artists for the art prize. The artists that have been nominated are: Bestué-Vives, Luz Broto, Andreas Fogarasi, Ryan Gander, Melissa Gordon, Nici Jost, Adrià Julià, Sonja Kretz, Mickry 3, Melvin Moti, Grace Ndiritu, Wilfredo Prieto, Jorge Satorre, Liang Shuo, Sophie Springer, Daniel Steegmann, Lucy Stein, Ana Strika, Esmé Valk, Sara van der Heide, Xia Xing, Wang Xingwei, Li Zhanyang, Zhao Zhao, Anna-Sabina Zürrer.
